Note : All persons of Indian origin who have acquired Indonesian citizenship are advised to surrender their Indian passports for cancellation and return. They need to renounce their Indian citizenship by filling up a prescribed form thereupon a Surrender certificate will be issued. The cancelled Indian passports & Surrender certificate will be needed at the time of applying for OCI Cards.

To apply for NOC (No Objection Certificate) for Indonesian citizenship, the following are required:

  1. Indian passport (Original and copy)

  2. KITAS/ KITAB (Original and copy)

  3. Request letter to Indonesian Immigration applying for citizenship (copy)

  4. Photo (one copy 4 x 4 cm)

  5. Affidavit from the concerned person with signature (Click here for download form)

  6. Fee : IDR 365,000

To obtain Surrender Certificate after acquiring Indonesian citizenship, the following are required:

  1. Indian passport for cancellation (Original and copy)

  2. (The cancelled passport will be returned after cancellation)

  3. KITAS / KITAB (Original and copy)

  4. Letter from Indonesian Immigration regarding grant of citizenship (copy)

  5. Photo (one copy 4x4 cm)

  6. Renunciation Declaration (Click here for download form)

  7. Fee : IDR 1,810,000
