AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Year 2020-21 


Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has announced AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for pursuing Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy, B.Sc in Yoga, BA in Yoga Shastra, Ph.D. in Yoga and Ph.D. in Ayurveda in Indian Universities / Institutes / Colleges.

Eligibility criteria:

Undergraduate Courses
5 ½ Year degree course including one-year mandatory clinical training (internship)

a) Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
b) Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)
c) Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
d) Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

12 years of schooling with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

Undergraduate Courses: 3-year course

e) B.Sc in Yoga
f) B.A.(Yoga Shastra)

12 years of schooling

Post Graduate Courses: 3-year course

a) M.D. Ayurveda

BAMS degree recognized by Central Council of lndian Medicine (CCIM)

b) MD Siddha

BSMS degree recognized by Central Council of lndian Medicine (CCIM)

c) MD Unani

BUMS degree recognized by Central Council of lndian Medicine (CCIM)

d) MD Homeopathy

BHMS degree recognized by Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH)

Ph.D. Courses: 3 years course

a) Ph.D. in Ayurveda

MD (Ayurveda) degree recognized by CCIM

b) Ph.D. in Unani: 3 years course

MD (Unani) degree recognized by CCIM

Applicants are advised to visit the website of the concerned institute/university for further details. Also for details about the various AYUSH systems, applicants can visit Ministry of AYUSH website https://www.ayush.gov.in/.

Interested candidates can submit their application for scholarships through the portal http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/. One hard copy of the completed application should also be sent to the Consulate latest by Monday, 31 August 2020.
